Hi there,

I installed MioMore Desktop 2008.
when I do the VOICE TRANSFER for my preferred language, it asks me the DVD that came with it. Looks like I lost my dvd. I checked on MIO Site to download & burn it again, they don,t have it.

Any idea to fix this problem to get back the voices?

How can I reset the password on this GPS?

I noticed today that DeLorme is shipping Street Atlas USA 2010 and in their list of "new" features they have this:

"NEW! Import POI Factory .csv waypoint files to draw layer and use them for trip planning. See Importing Files to Draw Files for more information."

That is great. Way to go POI Factory!

I have the Kenwood DNX5140. I know how to download POI.GPI files to the gps. However, I can't figure out how to load sounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Navigon 5100 and have had it for a year and a half and just now was looking to do some updates.

I understand the last update was 1.2a.

learned that Navigon is closed up in North Americnd the software update is not available on the Navigon site any longer and no one answer the emails I send them at Navigon.

Does anyone hjave the zip file for the last software update ?

Anyone have a factory installed system that has purchased North America Map DVD Version 8P from Navteq? I have 6P DVD right now. The price is $199 and that seems extreme to me. Is the upgrade worth it?

I am new to this and all I have is streets and trips on my laptop with a royal-tek usb receiver. I have found some poi's on here that I want to download but when I click on them, they ask for garmin or nuvi. What do I do? Thanks

Mio has introduced the Spirit GPSr with a digital TV receiver for sale in Europe. It says you aren't supposed to watch TV while driving but it has nothing that would prevent the receiver from operating while in motion, just a warning screen. Most US states have laws that prevent a TV from being visible to the driver while in motion.

And you thought cell phones or texting was distracting...

Has anyone been using the Navigator 430 for truckers and would like to get their feedback.

HELP!!!! I just purchased this GPS and did not find out until after I received it that the website for software updates and free downloads that was on a 3x5 card is no longer online. I am also having problems with the User Maunual Map recovery disk.

I own a Navigon 5100 and am having a problem with directions. I am instructed to make bizarre turns. When I know that going straight is the proper way to go, it tells me to make a right turn. It sometimes tells me to make a U-turn on a highway! What is going on and how can it be fixed? I have been instructed to make a turn on the next street which is not there!!! HELP!

I know that there isn't any GPS in a touch but I wanted to know if anyone out there uses a touch for working with GPS files or maps?

Hi. I recently purchased a 2007 gmc acadia with a navigation system. I can't figure out how to put the address book in alphabetical order. Neither do any of the sales people or service techs at the dealership know. My previous toyota just put the address's in order automatically. Any help?

I am new to GPS world and have a Garmin Nuvi 850. I down loaded the red light camera and custom alert. I put these in my document folder. I then uploaded to my GPS. Now when I come up to a camera light the Gps notifies me of the camera light with a single ding. My custom alerts will not sound. I also am using a Mac computer..

I have been using Microsoft's S&T for about 6 years as a trip planning and GPS on my computer in my motorhome. I LOVE IT! But now that I have found the POI's on POI Factory and want to download them to it and I am having troubles. When I import it I only get one pushpin (somewhere in the middle of my map) with all the POI's in that location. Can anyone help me with this?
