Microsoft streets and trips

I am new to this and all I have is streets and trips on my laptop with a royal-tek usb receiver. I have found some poi's on here that I want to download but when I click on them, they ask for garmin or nuvi. What do I do? Thanks

I haven't attempted it but

it appears that you can load POIs in the csv format into Streets & Trips using the Import Data Wizard in S&T (Data - Import Data Wizard).

It looks like you download the poi csv file to your PC from here and then import it into S&T.
