Need Help! - via michelin x930

Hey everyone quick question.... I just bought the via michelin handheld x930 and was wondering how to put more poi's onto it. In the software the gps came with I have a POI manager thing but It only accepts .asc and .poi files. I am so confused right now since I'm not seeing any of those on the internet and only seeing these .csv files.

POI for PHaros GPS135

Does anyone knows if there's a way to convert POI files to be use with different GPS system? I think I got one of the "not so popular" brand here ... I want to take advantage of the free POI available. Suggestion and recommendations are welcome.

Thanks.

Mio C310x fly-over feature

I was looking at the fly-over feature, and it seems to work in real time -- that is if it would take me 3 hours to get somewhere, then it will take me 3 hours to do the fly-over. I've looked for some way to make this go faster, but each time it just cancels the fly-over. Anybody get this to work?

Thanks,

Frank

Mio C310x Web Site

I'm about half way complete with the site but wanted to share it with any other Mio users, or others considering the Mio C310x.

I'm building a site specifically geared around how to unlock the functionality of this unit through it's WindowsCE interface, and how to modify POI's and SpeedCams for it. This unit has tons of potential but most of the documentation for it is in French, and it's almost impossible to find a guide on how to do these things.

Oh Mio Myo!

Okay, picked up the Mio C310x today AND AM OVERLY IMPRESSED. Will be giving it a test run over the holidays and will report back on this small, inexpensive, yet powerful little gem. Feeling sort of "out of the mainstream" with this unit as I've always been a Garmin fan, but I gotta admit you can't beat the package for the price.

Picked mine up today, the last one in stock at my local Staples, for $199, then got the SD card to go with it, 1gig for $19.99, not sure I could get a better deal!!!

Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007 W/GPS

I am very excited about this latest release of S&T W/GPS from Microsoft. It promises to be very useful in conjunction with my 15" laptop. No more eyestrain! MS says it has the latest generation satellite links with this unit, and I am anxious to test it out. I was wondering, can the Garmin POI's be converted to work w/S&T?
