Counting (Perhaps) - Seven wives, 49 sacks, 343 cats, and 2,401 kits.
[In the 5th century BC, the Chinese did not yet use the abacus. Instead, they relied on counting rods—small bamboo sticks arranged on a flat surface to represent numbers and perform calculations. The abacus (suanpan) came much later, around the Han Dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE) and was fully developed centuries afterward.]
