procedure on how to import POI into my pioneer AVIC-S2

SUBARU NAV -KENWOOD
I recently bought a 2008 Tribeca with DVD navigation system. Am not so happy with the maps and POIs because am used to Nuvi 370 easy to navigate. The navigation works with a DVD disk. Do you know if DVD disks from other NAV system work with the system. If anyone knows if they are compatible please let me know.

Take a look at this new device...Ilike the 3D map is has shown..Nt sure on any of the specifics/support etc..but I figured I post to see if anyone has any thoughts or knows anyone who has one...@ $399 it looks ok??

Ford Factory System
I am thinking about getting a Ford Explorer with in-dash system. Does anyone know make or model? I believe they use NAVTEQ. I have Garmin Nuvi 660 and look the custom POI option. I would hate to have a system that does not allow me to add points of interest.

Any Car Mounting Ideas for the AT&T Tilt?
My wife has an AT&T Tilt phone and she loves the GPS function, but I have yet to find a suitable mount for the car. Just to make it more difficult I also live in CA and cannot just stick it to the windshield.

honda CR-V with Navi
just got a new 08 CR-V, with navigation,
is there any info on the web about hacking or communicating with this unit,
'm really not impressed with it .
after using my Zumo,and mapsource,
you can't do jack with it.
unless you sit there a use the touch screen,,,,what a pain
and Honda charges over 200.0 for updated CDs
but what did i expect for 2400.00 add-on

Cool DeLorme Trick
Just figured I would add a not so well known trick for DeLorme users.
DeLorme allows you to import all kinds of things in to it but this one I think is pretty cool.
Earthmate Image Tagger is an easy-to-use program that lets you link your digital photographs to a GPS log so you can see exactly where you took a picture along your trip!

Navtour GPS - and presumably other Navigon software based units.
I bought *really cheap* a Navtour GPS. It's based on Navigon software.
It's barely worth the $50 I paid for it at the computer swapmeet.
However, I have discovered a few things.

LG LN735 Software
Hello,
After reading a few good reviews about the LG LN735 GPS I bought a used one. The only problem is it did not come with the original factory software. I was wondering if anyone had a copy I could buy. I'm afraid if I start to mess with the POI's I might mess something up and have no way to reinstall the mapping software.
