Garmin Express 6.5.0 - Later today, 6.5.1!

Optimize Route
I have never had a need to use Optimize Route, in Trip Planner, on my NUVI2555, until today.
I set up a route and it was routing rather in a rather circuitous way.
I checked all my waypoints and they seemed fine and in desperation, I hit Optimize.

Where do I look for favorites
Will need to get a new GPS. I know that I can transfer my current "Favorites" to the new GPS. I also don't remember how to do it. I believe that they are in a hidden file whose name I don't recall. I also have forgotten how to show the hidden files on a Mac running High Sierra. Heck of a situation. Terrible what ld age does. Can any one help me out?

Garminfone Wifi Use
I resurrected an old Garminfone. I want to use it in the wifi only mode, but it seems to be locked out. Does anybody know if some phones are just too old to even use in the wifi only mode?
As a side note, our old Samsung smartphones work just fine in the wifi only mode, but they also may have a somewhat newer Android OS, if that matters.

Driveluxe 50 Software Update Version 5.70
On May 30, 2018, Garmin issued software version 5.70 for the DriveLuxe 50:
Changes made from version 5.40 to 5.70:
Fixed an issue on FMI-enabled devices that caused timestamps of submitted forms to be incorrect.
Improved traffic search performance.
Improved software stability.
In addition to the software update, there is a language text update offered by Garmin Express.

Power button problem
Not sure if this is a good place to ask about this, but the power button on my 2597 no longer works. I think a spring broke inside so the button does nothing now. Any ideas how I can fix it? I just need to find a way to get the button to contact the switch inside again. It won't move at all now. Thanks.

Where to find old messages
Today I started up my Nuvi 2699 after having updated some POI files. On the top line it indicated I had a new message, so I clicked on the envelope. So it showed I had one new and one old message. The new message was about new voice files. I clicked on the message and read it. Then I hit the back button and now I had two old messages. Nothing unexpected here.

I was wondering how many forum members have Nuvicams. If you have one then are you using it with Bluetooth and Smart Link app?
I am having lots of Bluetooth issues with this device.

What Garmin Features Do You Miss From Older Garmins?
As posted above, what Garmin features, that were on older, legacy GPS units, do you miss, that are no longer available on current Garmin units?
A couple that come to my mind are:
-The clock. One/some of my older Garmins allow you to select a "clock" that displays the current time, including seconds.

How an SD card died here
Timing is everything.... I decided to do the .11 upgrade, and used the 660 as a guinea pig...
This post is entirely separate from the other recent post regarding .11 and 660...
When I got done with download... I noticed that file names were not changed, Deleted the old files, (Which seemed to take longer than I had ever remembered) and renamed new map files, and tried card.
Predictions (new Garmin models)
I know that no one can answer this with certainty but what do you think would be the time before Garmin brings out new models of GPS? the models out now have been here for over a year. I need a new one but I just know if I get one now they will come out with something new. I looked at the DriveSmart 61 LMT-s at best buy and it's almost as big as an iPad mini. Plus it has some weird features.
