Lifetime maps for Garmin just went to $62.99 on Amazon.

This is the lowest price so far this holiday season that I have seen.

Any one figure out how this thing works? I haven't gotten the icon on the map screen to turn green since my first upgrade. Always shows red and always shows 0. All the pertinent stuff is filled out. History is all there but that's all

How can I get my favorites and custom pois into my Nuvi 2555lmt from my Nuvi 1450, I got them out of my Zumo 550 when I bought the 1450, but that was two years ago, I can't remember

Hello, I am upgrading my 255WT that has served me well and will hand over to the Wife for Emergencies. I purchased a competitor but will take it back after realizing what I had in the low end 255 vs theres.

I have a problem after last map update. It happens if I am being routed to take an exit off of the interstate. Sometimes (not always) when the junction view pops up it causes my 765t to re-boot. Has anybody had this issue? I searched for it but could not find but I thought that I had seen it here earlier.

my new 2595lmt seems pretty good. One quirk. when you have an intermedate waypoint the arrival time doesnt reflect the time zone change at your destination. as soon as you pass the intermedate waypoint the time zone change at your destination is corrected in your arrival time. Any ideas?

Garmin 1300lm is on sale for as little as $90 (with lifetime updates). But perusing the features, I see that it does not have bluetooth (?) while my ANCIENT Garmin (Nuvi 660, but I bought it used almost 3 years ago) does hands free like a charm! As well as being a map, offering MP3 (so books on tape and music), travel photos, etc.

Am looking to buy my first NUVI and looks like the 2460LMT has good reviews. I do want the voice recognition; Blue Tooth doesn't matter to me nor does traffic updates since it sounds like it is hit and miss as far as being real time up to date.

Is there a way to delete the current maps and reinstall a complete new set?

I have a 1350 and did the last upgrade a few days ago. Now when I put in an address and then you pick the one to go to it lists all the choices twice...any idea why this is.Thanks,Tom

I really like my Nuvi 350. It even has an earphone jack and is small enough to put in my pocket. Is there any current Garmin that has the same navigation features? I believe Garmin made changes in later models that may not be as user friendly.

I have Garmin 265T and I would like to know how many "via points" you can add to a route.

I followed directions and changed the voice and Icon file ending as intructions but still cannot get them to load on my Garmin 2595. Put them in the same folder as the POI Red Light file then used POI loader to load it. Any suggestions. Below are the names I used for the files. Thanks for any help.

Is it possible to run a memory test on my Nuvi 1390? Was thinking of something like MEMTEST86 or perhaps there is a memory test built in on one of the diagnostic pages?

How do I get "Transit Types" under Settings/Navigation/ to be active? Currently it is listed as 'Enabled' but grayed out. I thought it used to become active when I put it in Pedestrian mode, but that doesn't seem to do it now. What am I missing?

I just bought a 1450lmt, I also noticed the 1490 model with bluetooth. I've always wondered if Garmin really does make that many different motherboards for all the models. Bluetooth is the only difference between these models, Does anyone think that the hardware really is there and it's locked out by software or firmware alone?

I read on several web sites that the nuvi 265 is compatible with TourGuide POIs. When I use the TourGuide in the name of a csv nuvi does nothing when I approach nothing when I approach a POI. I downloaded the Tim Horton's POI csv from here and can see the POIs when I touch Where To - Extras.

I'm being pestered by recurring notices that Garmin Lifetime Map Updater 2.0.5 is available. I've downloaded and installed it on my Mac twice and checked to confirm its the version I'm now running, but the dialog box notifying me that version 2.0.5 continues to pop up when I start up my Mac.

Am I the only one with this strange problem?
