Driving home from work today I had a slight traffic delay being reported. I noticed the Zumo 665 was telling me to exit at an exit 5 miles ahead and not 17 miles where my normal exit is. It seemed strange to me since the yellow delay was only 1 minute.
So I tapped the green banner to see where it was taking me. It was taking me off the exit ramp at the yellow delay highlight, crossing the street and bringing me right back down the entrance ramp to the same interstate. Well I just had to laugh since the 1 minute delay was the traffic dropping back to the speed limit instead of the normally traveled speeds on that road.
I chose to ignore it.
you been around GPS
You are not a "NUVI" those follow blindly were mistakes I made when I first got a GPS, I bet I will never read about bear007 driving on the RR tracks.
My old 260 with 2008 maps have a couple places around town with weird routing similar to what your zumo want it to do.

That's funny.. I have seen those a couple times on my Nuvi.... But I am not a noob so didn't follow it.
Is that with traffic
Is that with traffic avoidance checked?

Is that with traffic avoidance checked?
Yes, standard FM traffic was on and traffic avoidance was checked.

Always have to watch it
When I had MSN traffic (thank god it is gone now), I had to watch very carefully that it was not routing me somewhere idiotic for what it thought was traffic.
.
After a similar experience, I disabled the traffic avoidance on all my traffic enabled nuvis.
