usb cord plugged into a USB power adapter into lighter plug-in

On my Droid X I use the optional cradle mount they have that has the same size ball as the Garmin's use and then use the new style Garmin dash pad mount with the phones supplied usb cord plugged into the cradle mount. I then use a simple cheap USB adapter that plugs into the lighter or power plug-in in the car. They also have a power adapter cable similar to the non traffic one that Garmin provides for nuvi's.

I know the questiong sounded dumb, but I don't see many people in their vehicles with power cords hooked up.

come with car chargers any more. I bought a iGO several years ago and now all I need are new tips to match the current phone.

Not for the 2460

This is just for the New Garmin 2405-2505 . The last number ends in 5.

I downloaded the smartphone

I downloaded the smartphone software and updated my 2460 but I still cant figure out how to transfer data from my smartphone (Samsung Charge) to my 2460. Any ideas? Can you do it in wifi mode or must you be using a data connection? Can't figure out how you get things like weather, traffic, etc, to transfer to my 2460. Anyone know the procedure?

.

Try a BT connection...

Thanks, I did. My BT is set

Thanks, I did. My BT is set up but doesn't seem to help any. What is the process? Should I just be able to go to a database or information on my phone and share it via BT?

Options

Any options you have should appear on screen as with things like the phone, contacts etc. I would surmise. However, as I don't have this my device, I can't say for sure.

It also may in settings, or tools on the nuvi itself. That's where I would check first.

edit - I don't see the 2460 on the list for this feature.
