Camper 760 Speed Boings

Hi Guys,

Is there any way I can stop my Camper 760 doing a BOING every time the speed limit changes (up or down).

I've looked through all (I think) of the settings but I can't stop it.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards,

Paul

Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.

Try This:

If you are referring to Garmin's RV760, try this:

Go to “Settings”, “RV Profile”, “RV” and create a profile for your vehicle. You can make one for your car, truck / trailer or RV or all of the above. Enter the dimensions and weight for each vehicle in which you plan to use the RV760. Leave the “Speed Limit Change Audible Alert Enabled” box unchecked for those vehicles in which you don't want the alert.

If you already have a profile created, using “Edit” (the 3 bar symbol in the upper left), uncheck the “Speed Limit Change Audible Alert” box, then “Save”.

Unless you create and use a profile, I know of no other way to turn off the speed limit change alert.

.

And for additional information, you can download the user manual here.

Many thanks for the comprehensive reply, Which I followed and I have no Boings.

I have also downloaded the manual, so I shouldn't have to ask any more "silly" questions.

Thanks to all who responded.

Paul

There are NO silly questions

There are NO silly questions. Each is important from the requester's standpoint. While some of the responses may make light of the request, most of us do share our knowledge in helping a new user progress. My advice is we've all been there before and knowing where to go for information can be just as important as the information itself. Welcome to the forum.

The fact that someone took the time to ask the question meant that it was important to them.

Such questions are important to me because I learn about things I have never encountered before.

Yes, absolutely no silly questions, at all.

I posted the link to the manual only to allow you to get more information if you needed it.
