Software Update Available for Nuvi 2598 (and perhaps others)

Checked in on GE the other day and it listed a new software update available. I downloaded and installed to my 2598 and everything seems to work okay so at least nothing broke.

That's the latest firmware for your 2689 which came out on July 15:

Your 2689 uses different firmware than the xxx7 and xxx8 series.

July 15 was 2 days into our

July 15 was 2 days into our "Lack of Internet" when we sold one house, and picked up and moved cross country...

By the time we got back 'up' with internet access it was 24th, and then our furniture arrived... putting us in un-pack mode....

Only reason I even tried to see if firmware was available is his title.... Sorry for any confusion....

We've been waiting for this map upgrade for SO LONG... That I Retired and Moved cross country...
