Junction View On SD Card

Hello
I am using Garmin 52LM. I installed CN NA NT 2015.30 on the SD card under the \Garmin\ directory and it works fine. I then downloaded the large JCV file that corresponds to 2015.30 from here http://download.garmin.com/support/2015_30/NA/JV/D3060160A.J...
and I installed it in the directory \Garmin\JCV\ on the SD card. Then under settings I selected the only active map to be 2015.30. I ran a simulator test with known Junction Views but they did not show up at all. Where did I go wrong when installing the JCV file on the SD card? Note the SD card only has the 2015.30 maps (image file) and the JCV file, nothing else.

I don't think the 50 series
I don't think the 50 series can use the large junction view file.
I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

The nuvi 50 (and all of the Essential Series nuvis) is not able to display the full-screen PhotoRealistic Junction Views, so you must stick with the default split-screen view. See:

Large JCV does not work on 52LM
Where can I get the small JCV file for 52LM (NT NA 2015.30)? I want to replace with it the existing small JCV file (NT 49 Lower States 2014.40) Thanks again

AFAIK you can only get the default JCV files by installing the map update. Large JCV files are available for download separate from the map update, but not the JCV files that are actually part of the normal update.
Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.

JCV files are map-version-specific. A jcv file that is installed with a City Navigator map version will not offer Junction Views when copied to a device with any other version of City Navigator, older or newer.
I'm confused as to why you're wanting to do this. What's wrong with using the jcv file that came with your map version and why do you think a different older jcv file will remedy your perceived issue?
Since you have a LM nuvi, you're probably updating to a new map each time one comes out. If you're doing as is suggested here at The Factory and making a backup of the files on your device each time a new map comes out, your older backups will have the older map and jcv files. Just remember that you can't mix map files and jcv files from different map version updates. And for devices with Voice Recognition, the various ASR folder files are also map-version-specific.
Why 2015.30?
Since your 52LM has lifetime map updates why are you staying with 2515.30 when 2015.40 is available. Just download the map and you will get the correct small JCV file.
Better yet, 2016.10 should be released any day now, just wait and you will be up to date with your maps and have the junction view operational.
It's always smart to make a backup of your Nuvi should problems arise.
