Hello all,

I am looking for the POI Loader for the Garmin Nuvi 650 that I just purchased. When I check Garmin's website, I don't see any downloads available under the 650 section.

Any help would be great.

Is it possible to upload the custom pois from my zumo to mapsource and see them on mapsource? If so...how?

I would like to add some POI's to my garmin C340 but am having a hard time figuring out how to create a POI file. Can some one please help.

The suction cup on my Streetpilot C330's windshield mount cracked after 14 months. I phoned Garmin, and they promptly sent me a new bracket that included a new suction cup. I was told that some of the suction cups were defective. If you have a similar problem, you might be eligible for a free replacement.

Just for my info. i put the address of my work in the 650.It wanted me to take a out of the way route.Even if i went my normal way it would not recalibrate.This is a first for me and causes a concern if i would be going to an unknown destination.
Anyone else had this problem?

I'm new to the PND world, have used Telenav on Blackberries (loved it), but had to have the iPhone -- which only has google maps (and currently backlevel too).

Took advantage of some holiday sales and picked up a 660 from Tigergps. Love it ..

How does the nuvi play mp3s?

1) Does it do it alphabetically according to the file name itself? And, if so, would "01 anybody seen my baby.mp3" play before "anybody seen my baby.mp3"

2) Or, does is go by the mp3's tag information? And, if so, would the title play like above, or can you change the track number in the tag information to designate the order of play?

I am a fairly new owner of a Garmin 760 I received for Christmas. This forum has been great for me to learn how to add POI files and help me utilize my GPSr more effectively.

I am planning a trip to the Northeast and have d/l the POI's for lighthouses and covered bridges in the areas we plan on going, They loaded on the GPS great, but for planning a route I would like to see them on Mapsource on my computer. Is this possible and if it is possible how can it be accomplished?

I have new Garmin 760 and just used the POI Loader to add a custom POI from this site to internal memory. The process went smoothly and I can see the data on my 760 under Where To/Extras/Custom POIs but I want to set proximity alerts but I don't see "Proximity Points" in Tools/Settings. Any advice? Thanks.

I just downloaded and installed garmin POI Loader 2.42 and all I get when I open (run) it is the splash screen. Has this happened to anyone else? I tried re-downloading it but same result. I tried with zumo 550 plugged in and not. ???

Hello all...new owner of a Nuvi 200 here with a simple question. I've been using GPS's since waaaayyyy back (started with a GPS12 and have 4 Garmin products in all) and I'm accustomed to most features, but I can't find out how to do something on the 200 that my simple eTrex does quite well.

I am new to this, but, I downloaded a file on my Nuvi 350 and it went to My Locations, Custom POI's. Can I send these downloads to a different place. For instance, if I download golf courses, can I send it to golf courses. If I download Disney World, can I send it to attractions?

I just got a Nuvi 200 for Christmas and I really like it. The only complaint that I have is the terrible documentation. Today, I accidentally touched something and got a screen that enabled me to put in my Home address. I have no idea what I touched, nor how to get back to that screen. I have searched every screen that I know of. I think that there must be a lot of undocumented capabilities.

You say you want voice recognition? Cruise over to www.gpslodge.com and check out the latest from Garmin. This now rivals my on-board Honda system!
