Putting MS S&T routes into a Garmin 2720

Search didn't really help me much except for POI's.

Is there anyway to create a route using MS Streets&Trips on a PC and then download the route to a 2720? Much like Mapsoure does but S&T does it much better, IMO.

You can use GPS Utility (http://www.gpsu.co.uk/) to convert the .est file to a .gpx file that you can load to the 2720.

Note that S&T only saves the waypoints and not the actually routing, so you need to be sure that you have enough points included in your route to make it go where you want.

Basically you're going to have to do it the same way in S&T as you would with MapSource, by using a bunch of vias, because as Motorcycle Mama says, if you don't have enough points you aren't going to like the results

Thanks for the info. I'm aware of using sufficient waypoints to force the route. Now I can try the conversion software from .est to .gpx.
