Hi I have a c530 and now have over a half million custom POI's. I created sub folders for them so they can be in an organized manner. I did notice that when I search for a POI now it is taking longer to find them then it used to. Is there such a thing as loading too many POI's? I have them all loaded on an SD card.

Trying for the 1st time to put some custom POI's on my Nuvi 660. Strange thing happening. If I upload 2 gpx files then they show up as categories under Extra. If I then upload another file that is a .csv file then only the poi's from the csv file are listed. Do I need to only use one format what am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to have a few different folders of POIs and speed cameras on my Nuvi 660. I'm able to upload all my custom POIs using the POI loader. I've also been able to upload the speed cameras on the GPS as well. However, they are all showing up in the same folder. I can't figure out why that's happening or how I can correct it so they have seperate folders for each.

A friend has a c330 and is having a problem with his PC not seeing the GPS, in other words when he opens My Computer the c330 doesn't show there, however he is able to use POI loader to send files to the GPSr

I loaded up a few POI's from my local area. I got the cordinates off of google earth. I loaded them onto the GPS, but they are about 15 miles off. I triple checked the numbers and they are correct from what i got off of google. Unit is a Nuvi660. Any input ? ..Thanks

I can not figure out how to get rid of a folder called Fodor's Sample Data that came on my Nuvi 660. It's in the "Extras" folder. When I plug it into the computer, I don't see any folder with that name. FOr the life of me, I don't know how to get rid of it.

Does anyone know if the Nuvi 260 is able to recieve traffic and/or weather alerts? If so, How do I go about signing up?

Is there any way an external antenna with a usb connection can be adapted to the pin type connection used for the Garmin c330 ? ? ?

Since my Nuvi's manual was useless I started playing with the different functions and from there comes my tip of the day.

Just bought a Nuvi 350. POI's are not up to date. My TomTom is much more current. Garmin's support says they do not offer updates. You'd think a new purchase would have POI's that are at least up to date in the last 12 months. Is there anyway to get current? What about updated maps?

I'm a new Garmin Navi 360 user. Last week I loaded in the software update from Garmin. However the Bluetooth version no longers works. It will still recognize my Blackberry Curve but drops it in about 15 seconds. Garmin sent me a file that was suppose to take me back to an earlier BT version. But after installing the BT remains the same (3.0).

I downloaded a POI CSV file into my "documents" and when I tried to retrieve it thru the Garmin POI unloader it wasn't there. What is the procedure to download a POI file then install on the Garmin 200?

I was given a c330 for Christmas a neighbor stood in one of those day after Thanksgiving sales a got 2 330's cheap really cheap. I noticed after messing around with mine I did'nt have the lasteset version loaded on mine after trying to downlaod the update it told me the 330 i had did in fact have the latest update.

is this file available in CSV or GPX format? a lot of custom POI files contain many duplicates to the built-in ones, so maybe I can find a way to eliminate them.

How Do I Load BMP Icons into my Garmin GPS Nuvi 200? I have attempted it with the poiloader without success,
All the POI load grate! but without symbols.
