I downloaded a POI CSV file into my "documents" and when I tried to retrieve it thru the Garmin POI unloader it wasn't there. What is the procedure to download a POI file then install on the Garmin 200?

I was given a c330 for Christmas a neighbor stood in one of those day after Thanksgiving sales a got 2 330's cheap really cheap. I noticed after messing around with mine I did'nt have the lasteset version loaded on mine after trying to downlaod the update it told me the 330 i had did in fact have the latest update.

is this file available in CSV or GPX format? a lot of custom POI files contain many duplicates to the built-in ones, so maybe I can find a way to eliminate them.

How Do I Load BMP Icons into my Garmin GPS Nuvi 200? I have attempted it with the poiloader without success,
All the POI load grate! but without symbols.

Do the maps in a slightly older version of MapSource have any better details/POIs than the built-in maps in a Nuvi 200?

WebUpdater informs me that this item is available. Can't find chipset type under system/about. Loathe to take a chance on bricking my GPS, because I leave on a west coast trip in a couple of days.

After running the POILoader, all the .gpx files in my POI directory are gone. Does the POILoader delete them after loading?

How can I pull the POIs out of the poi.gpi file? I believe this can be done with MapSource, however I am at work now and don't have all my Garmin related software here.

I just recieved my Nuvi 680 yesterday and up until now i was getting an icon that looks like a cloud with three lightning bolts coming from it. And when i clicked on it it went to a screen and said something like nothing found. I also got this same screen when i clicked on the lower right hand side of the screen that is supposed to take you to the next turn page.

I apologize if this has been answered before. I looked around and searched but have yet to find any information.

Does anyone know if you can copy a portion of a map from Google Earth or Google maps and use that as a base map in the Nuvi? Would it work with the satellite imagery available on those sites?

Okay. I've created a TourGuide for my Nuvi 350! For now, a single waypoint to test the "radius" based proximity. It works great! The GeePeeX editor helped a lot. I have a LINK directory with an MP3 audio file that plays automatically, and 3 JPG pictures.

This leads me to two questions.

So I recently was given a nuvi 660 for the holidays. I live in Colorado and was plotting a course to Las Vegas. All was well except that the road I drive on was no where to be found on the nuvi 660. I have the updated software and maps, and it was no where. It is hwy 50. I live is Gunnison, Colorado. Anyone else missing highways? Any help would be huge. This is quite frustrating! Thanks ya'll.

My first GPS is Garmin c320, second is Garmin nuvi350.I think I don't own the best one with the best price always.

Ok, so I've loaded a POI file which contains 71 locations on my Nuvi 260. When I activate the file it only displays 52 locations (13 pages of 4 per page). How can I make it list all 71 locations?

I've downloaded a couple of POI files to my Nuvi. When I select "Where To"..."Extras"..."Custom POIs"...[category], I see the list of items in distance order. I can click on one and click "Map", and it shows the item on the map.

I received today my FREE City Navigator Map Source DVD and have a question for those familiar with the program.

i bought a garmin 330 last week. cant u download poi on here on a scandisk i tried it with the red light cameras and a few from here. they show on the card but i cant get any thing to show on the unit. when i tried to down load some to the unit it said there wasn't enough space on the unit no matter how little i tried to download onto it.

What is XImage?

I am new to this. I figured out how to add poi's but how do I add sounds and Icons to go with them
