Problem with Google maps and Takitwithme.com

Very new at this! I received a Nuvi 250W for Xmas. Right now it is a toy and I'm trying to learn. Have done a lot of reading and in doing so I came across a post here that mentioned Google Maps and Takitwithme.com. Being that I work in construction and I'm constantly in newer areas of my city; I thought it would be a good idea to load a map of a area that I work in that is not yet listed on my GPS. I selected the area in Google and pasted the link in Taketwithme.com. I loaded the map and attempted to download to my GPS. Wouldn't; as the web site kept on giving me a error. Saying it had a problem with the script. I tried to download the GPX file directly to my desktop; and it to showed errors. Just wondering what I am doing wrong. The site did recognize my GPS as it showed the proper model number etc.
I have managed to download some free maps from another site and successfully put them on my memory card. The GPS did read these files okay.

I'm not sure what the error is, but you do realize that you can't load MAPS with that site, right. It only allows you to load waypoints, tracks, and routes. And with your unit, you will be limited to waypoints only since the others aren't supported on that unit.
