Nuvi 200 Finding POI's

Hello all... I am new to this.. can someone help assist me in finding the POI's i just loaded on to my SD card and then my nuvi?// I check the extra's and nothing is appearing after it told me i had 739 new poi's loaded after I used the loader program...help!!

Did you touch the Extras button and then touch the Custom POIs bar?

what type of files did you download to your gps? I believe you have to use .csv files only and .bmp for images. Also, we assume your are using the POI loader?
Confirm that your SD card is in the unit, and then you can copy/extract all the necessary files directly to the drive your card is located on. After that, use the loader to write directly to the device.

After you upload the POI's
After you upload the POI's with POI loader, go to the SD card in Windows Explorer or whatever OS you're using, and rename the just-uploaded POI file to whatever you want it to be. I found that information on this site after having my POI files overwritten. The Garmin (at least the nuvi 200, names any uploaded POI files "poi.poi," and that is why you want to rename the file immediately after uploading. It's probably that way on all Garmin units, but someone else will have to address that to be sure.
