Why are GARMIN TAIWAN and GARMIN Europe installed on my c330 if there are no maps for those 2 places

Why Do Garmins with North America V8 maps not have Wendys installed under Fastfood

Why does the Garmin Streetpilot series have such low internal memory. My C330 has about 5 MB of memory. i want to be able to put as many POI's in my Garmin as I want.

My bf's cell phone has GPS navigation (not a good replacement for a dedicated unit). He claims his map service is better because there are not stored maps. His maps are constantly updated from Google maps over the satellite.

I have been waiting for the Nuvi 5000 to hit the market, hearing that it would have directions for big trucks. When I purchased one yesterday, I opened the box only to find the instruction booklet was printed in German. Is there no instructions in English?

Can you map a trip in streets abd trips and load it into a garmin 350?

Just Wanted to let everyone know Circiut City Has The Garmin Nuvi 5000 For $699 After Rebate

I first loaded some POIs to my device itself (instead of my SD card). However, I wanted to start all over again and load them to my SD card. When I load them to my SD card, it duplicates my the names of the POIs. When I try to reset my Garmin 250W by pushing on the lower right hand corner while powering it on, it asks if I would like to clear all user data.

Unsure which one to buy. What are the differences? Is 368.00 a good deal on the 660?

OK -- this may seem like dumb questions, but after loading a new POI file onto my Garmin Nuvi 200, how do I access the information? I successfully installed a POI file for Rest Areas. Will the new information come up in the menu when I search under Points of Interest under a sub-heading (like "Auto Service")? Or do the Rest Areas automatically appear on the map when I approach one?

I have a Nuvi 660 and recently got a 750. I have been driving around with both to compare.

What model in Garmin GPS that as the electrique connector on the cradle and not like the Nuvi 250W that we have to plug the wire each time, on and off.?

Is it possible to save a route that has a waypoint without having to re-install the waypoint everytime you switch it on. I have a Nuvi 350

Poil Loader worked twice on windows vista now i can not get it to work even after uninstall and reinstall when you go to use it the error message says garmin poi loader stopped working anybody else have this problem

I just got my Nuvi 760 which is an upgrade from Tom Tom 5 on my PDA. I noticed that when I select a destination that can be routed using a toll bridge or a free bridge the nuvi does not give you the option to avoid tolls like Tom Tom does. Have I looked over something or does the Nuvi just lack this feature.

I'm a nubie, and LOVE this site!!

I'm using a nuvi 660 & would like to be able to see where the next truck stop is. I've got the POI files loaded for different truck stops. I can choose them & it'll go there just fine, but I can't seem to get the GPS to display different truck stops along the route I'm on.

I have a Nuvi 350 and have downloaded custom POI's. They are in the nuvi. I have used 3d, north up and up arrow and do not see the POI's ever.

Does anyone have any ideas why?
