waas/egnos
You should enable it. It makes the GPS more accurate. It does use more battery but if you keep the unit plugged into the car charger it won't matter.
See Garmin's explanation

Lots of posts about this
Lots of posts about this already. General consensus is that WAAS does not ACTUALLY give you better accuracy, but drains your battery more.
IMO, if it's running on a power source (ie. car), turn it on. If it's running off the battery, turn it off.

Search POI Factory for WAAS. You'll get loads of opinions, most suggesting not to enable WAAS.

I also agree, don't turn it
I also agree, turn it off...why? well, there are too many reasons to repeat, as stated above, do a search and you shall find all the facts/opinions of the users.

I just checked my nuvi and for me the only change between WAAS/EGNOS is in WAAS mode I am at 1042feet instead of 1055 for an elevation. The accuracy stayed at 21/22 feet.
