Am I capable of running MP3 files on my Garmin StreetPilot c530? I tried one and it didn't seem to work.
I am having trouble getting the alert to sound for the rest areas combined file.
No to MP3
There may be a work-around to let you use .wav files, but I don't now if it works with that unit.
Just search the site for .wav files and you should find it.

Unfortunately, the Street Pilot C530 isn't capable of playing .mp3 files...
MP3 player: no
Audio book player: no
Headphone jack/audio line-out: no
