Hi All,

My iPhone geotags the photos I take and is giving me the longitude and latitude in this format:
exif:GPSLatitude 37,20.31N
exif:GPSLongitude 121,57.02W

How do I convert these coordinated to the format used on my Nuvi 670 & 880?
Specifically longitude -XXX.XXXXX and latitude XX.XXXXX.

I was wondering how this would affect Garmin, etc. when I saw in the news that Google was giving directions for free on the Android.
It strikes me that the stand alone makers are going to have to convince the average user that their device is much better than using your phone. As mentioned in the article, extra features might be the answer, but it just might mean that the stand alone device will only be bought by folks that need those extra features.
I probably would still purchase a Garmin, but the allure of one device that does it all (like Tolken's ring) is very appealing.

So who is getting their Droid phone this Friday? I have been looking at getting a new phone for a while now, but nothing really spoke out to me other than the iPhone. But, since I am with Verizon I would like to keep it that way. The Droid seems like a good alternative, looking at the features of the phone.

Did i see correctly a Nuvi Phone thru At&T...

wonder if they putting out these phones because their service is so bad!!!!

It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I do check in once and while. Anyway, I was surprised that I haven't seen a post about this (unless I can't find it?). It was a big enough deal to cause both Garmin's and Tom Tom's stock to drop.

This goes on sale October 4,2009. There is nothing on the AT&T website when I login with my cell#. Does that mean it's only available in some areas?

TomTom for iPhone is now available via iTunes for US$99.00 for the US and Canada version. This is only for the software. There will be a hardware cradle/charger/speaker available later. No word on pricing but MacRumors believes it will $170 for a hardware/software package.
