Don't know why your iPhone 6 S won't update to 14. My iPhone 6 S is offering the update. Current IOS is v.13.1.6

Haven't bothered to update since one of the things mentioned is a Covid APP. I'm already running a Covid APP provided by the Federal Government where I check in every day and check off a few items and then enter my body temperature.

EDIT: I must have inadvertently hit the update button, IOS 14 is now being downloaded to my iPhone 6 S.

The Covid App was on your iPhone long before this update. Look in Settingd>Privacy> Health.

As far as I can tell, there

As far as I can tell, there is no App on the Home Screens. It's built in to the Settings. Go down to Exposure Settings and turn it on/off there.

The default installation setting is OFF so there's no skullduggery there.

There is no app per se.

It's something you need to turn on to be able to use it as phranc states.

not right now

I think I'm going to hold off for now, and wait to see how others fare with their devices. I was an 'early adopter' the last time around, and it took a couple weeks to clean up the mess that resulted.

I might update when iOS 14.1 comes around.

Things seem faster..

Could just be me, but with iPadOS 14 my iPad Air 2 seems faster.

Annoying, music app can't find my music

The Apple Music app used to play music I have stored on the iPad. It doesn't seem to be able to find any of the music after the update. Connecting the iPad to a PC using iTunes says the musical content is still on the device.

Anyone have a similar situation and maybe a remedy?

Try support.apple.com. All

Try support.apple.com. All music was lost on another update a coupe years ago. There's probably a solution there. Also, try MacRumors.

All Good

iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and WatchOS 7 are all installed and wonderful.

All better than before.

New macOS due out soon, couple weeks or so. It's been a while.

iPhone 6s Success

For whatever reason, the update eventually showed up and I downloaded on the iPhone 6s. No obvious problems after updating.

iPhone 6S

Updated to 14.0 just fine
