Is there a POI that list Scuba Dive Shop?.

A new IKEA store is opening today in Tampa, FL. I have downloaded the current IKEA file, added the location to it and emailed it to Miss POI for her to post.

Last spring I downloaded a file that was approved by the Nationa Park Service that list each NP and the services avalliable in that park (Picnic areas, restrooms, etc...).
It was full of very helpful information which I used often. Can anyone tell me what happen to that file or where I can find it?

There are guidelines in place for downloading a file, making corrections, additions and/or deletions, then resubmitting the file which will go through a scrub and check for cleanliness before being released to the public. There are also guidelines in place to contact the maintainer of a file if changes are necessary to a given file.

Did a search and didn't find anything...

I noticed that some POI's now have a Unusable Record(s) tag with them. It's meaning is obvious, but, how are they handled?

Are they still included in the file that we download? How do we know which are unusable so they can be fixed?

I am wondering if anyone has plugged in this guide as a set of POI's yet?

I have been responsible for The Palm Beaches, FL, Metro Area Project but last week I moved out of Palm Beach County.

Anybody interested in taking over this project?

I know that in the coming months, red light cameras will be installed in many locations in Palm Beach County.
Right now, I do not have access to the news in PBC and won't be able to help with that.

I want to convert a very large poi (4,000) lines to a garmin gdb file. The problem is I use a MAC.

Does anyone know of perhaps on online place that will do the conversion? Or a program for the MAC?

mcguiremeg, I wanted to say a big THANKS for creating the Western Dog Park POI file. I live in Albuqueque, and travel to Arizona, Colorado, and Utah on occasion. It will be great to know where the dog parks are along the way!! Your work is greatly appreciated by this dog lover and GPS user!

I posted on my website an automatically generated file for all (almost ) of the CVS pharmacies that Switchboard.com lists. The file is comma separated and has:

Name, address, city, state, zip, lat, lon

I haven't gone thru the file to check it thoroughly , so someone will need to go in and check the listings.

Chili's restaurant 13015 Birch in Omaha, NE closed last month. May want to change the Chili's CSV file to reflect.

It would be great if there was a 24 Hour fitness POI file for all of the USA. Thanks to anyone who can do this.

Thanks to the internet, it is very easy to find where all the toll roads and bridges are in Virginia. I have created a POI file of them and it is at:

The food POI’s are my favorite, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is great!
The Food Networks $40 a Day with Rachael Ray’s should be the next one to to made. I know and ate at a few of the locations in Philadelphia and Miami. Who wants to make this one, I know it would be great eats.

After searching I could not find a thread for adding IHOP restaurants, so I am putting it here. Be advised that you should use the GPS coordinates to find this location since it is in a relatively new shopping center development. If you use the address you will be in North Knoxville instead of South Knoxville.

Is anyone working on like a POI database of offroad parks or trails around the US or in certain states even?
