Did a search and didn't find anything...
I noticed that some POI's now have a Unusable Record(s) tag with them. It's meaning is obvious, but, how are they handled?
Are they still included in the file that we download? How do we know which are unusable so they can be fixed?
Thanks,
Chuck
Some of these come up as
Some of these come up as unusable because there are quotes on the line. I have been working on clearing these up as I find them.
Please post links to files that need attention in this thread.

I found that
the POI I submitted and edit has usuable records. I'll gladly fix them but can't find which ones. It's my first POI post though.

There are at least 2 quick fixes for the problem of quotes in the file. Both require a "search and destroy" or Search and remove.
1. Use Excel or another spreadsheet program to open the file and do the search and replace.
2. Use Excel and the ASAP utilities to do the search and replace.
There are other methods, but these two are easy and quick.

Nore sure if
it's relavant but I went through my POI file in excel format and removed any quotes I came across. Now It's not showing unusable records. Removing the quotes is all it requires?

It depends

Removing quotes from a CSV file depends on how you are editing the file. If you use Excel to open the CSV text file, it strips the quotes unless there is more than one set in each column. If you use a text editor, such as notepad, then you will see the quotes. That's why I suggested using Excel to rid the file of the extraneous quotes.
