suction mount

I have a Garmin 530. When the base is attached to the ball of the suction mount, it appears to be loose on the ball. The base just pivots down without any pressure. Is there anyway to fix this? thanks

Have you had it long - often wondered would it do this over time. If you have not had it long I would go back to Garmin.

suction mount

On my C330, there is a knob for adjusting the tension on the pivot ball. If your mount has a round, black knob up close to where the mount attaches to the unit, try turning that knob clockwise (from the perspective of the rear view) and that should tighten the tension.

naw, c330 is different type

naw, c330 is different type of mount then the c530. I often wondered if it would get loose too. Have you tried to pop the metal ring out, squeeze it a bit to get it back smaller and then reinsert the ring? That is what I am planning to do when, if, that happens

Thanks Asianfire for your help! I took out the small metal ring, took a pair of pliers to it, put it back in and its as good as new!

Glad to know that worked for

Glad to know that worked for ya, now I know for sure what to do.
