For the last 2 weeks every time i log in to POIfactory I have to enter my log in info which is slightly annoying.
Though I suspect that the reason may be that now and for the next 5 months my ISP is a Mexican ISP. Using a VPN would take longer to use so Ive ruled that out.
Other than logging in every time is there another solution?

Now that Android 12 is available to Pixel phones should you install it?

My son got his yellow belt in karate, so we said we'd reward him.

He chose an Angry Bird's Lego set, out of production. I saw $89 / free shipping eBay, new sealed in box, got it.

Was like $120 on amazon blah blah blah

Then I found something where it was $50 when brand new.

DOH!!!

While reading through the "Do you dislike debt?" post (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/51864), the end seemed to turn into a most liked vehicle discussion, so I thought I would open one up here.

This is the place to talk about things that are not GPS related.

See files added or updated in the last week

Just want to give a shout out to Rand McNally after being out of the Truck for 10 years I found my old 710 GPS and after charging it up not only did it work but I had purchased the lifetime updates when I bought it and sure enough I just finished doing over 10 years of updates to the GPS and to the maps. It is kind of nice to see lifetime means a lifetime.

I like to mention things that seemingly defy common sense.

Well, my 2006 car which is now 16 years old, was purchased when it was 11. Since it was from a new car dealer, on the used lot, they reconditioned the headlights, and as such, they were crystal clear when I first got the vehicle.

Over the last 5 years, they got hazy again.

The latest update for Windows 10 is available:

November 9, 2021—KB5007186 (OS Builds 19041.1348, 19042.1348, and 19043.1348)

It took about five minutes on an SSD laptop to install and went on without apparent issues.

FWIW, there was a comment in the description of the update:

I know that ultimately we ourselves are responsible to read the fine print, but I do get annoyed when things renew on their own before we have a chance to cancel.

I think that as many mistakes as I have made in life thus far, for the most part I've been able to save for the future.
