LastPass, only getting worse

Quoting article, “…the attacker obtained the passwords of 30 million users and 85,000 companies from LastPass.

Best to change your password, if you haven’t done so already.

Nice day for a walk

Another beauty day for a walk. Ultrasound tomorrow at hospital.

arranging to junk a vehicle

All this battery talk etc. has gotten me to finally junk the car in the driveway, that hasn't driven since 2016.

It was my first new car, and it was my dream car: 1998 Maxima SE 5 speed with every option except wind deflector.

The fact that I started it last week adds $30 to the value, and it comes in at $600.

I suspect this number is higher than 2019, but I never checked prior.

Can You Lock Yourself INSIDE Your Vehicle?

I read this in another forum and question whether it's true or not. It raises an interesting possibility though:

Keeping The Windmill Alive – February 2023

Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the..., or your most recent adventure?

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Please keep comments polite.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

This is the official POI Factory Joke thread.

Please read all the forum rules before posting, and keep in mind...

message for wscaswell

wscaswell, a couple of things:

1. Your US & Canada Covered Bridges POI file has an invalid first record, "Long,Lat,BName,Desc." You should delete it.

2. Here's a covered bridge you don't have. It's in the city of Geneva in Ashtabula County, Ohio, and at 18' it happens to be the shortest covered bridge in the country.

hotel reservations--seamless?

I no longer travel for work, stopped when the pandemic hit.

Booked a hotel in Alexandria VA (Marriott franchise). $94 before taxes which imho is good. none of the travel websites had anything cheaper for same property.

Checked in at 8 AM lol with the app, room key ready.

That is a real plus to be able to do that over 3 PM EST. Only we're not there yet.

Red Light and speed cameras

Just updated to the most recent camera apps.
We have an Arctic front moving in starting this evening. Will bundle up for my daily walks.

New updates for Windows 10

Just installed

2023-KB5022478 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2

and

KB4023057: Update for Windows Update Service components

and

2023-01 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019275)

IPad 16.3 released

A fairly quick update compared to some.

Also, a security update was released today for older iPads that can’t use version 16.x. I believe it was 15.7.3.

first check, last check

It's sorta interesting how for many of us, if we've been at a job for a long time, imho there is likely a pay period in mental limbo. If I quit on this day, what am I owed?

My first job, if we got paid on Friday, that takes us through that day.

Why, I have no idea, because what if a person called in sick that day?
