Can anyone tell me how to combine all individual POI lists into one U.S. list for example...I want to combine all the Wind Farm lists into one Wind Farm POI so that it will be under one listing in my GPS. It is probably simple but so am I when it comes to computers. If someone could just spell out exactly how to do it I would really appreciate it.

If anyone is not eligible for a free upgrade from garmin and don't want to pay 70 dollars for the update.I purchased a copy from provantage before finding out that i had a free update from garmin now i have an extra copy from garmin new never open for 35.00.If interested send an email.fluxgate@netzero.com

Just thought I would share..... I was informed over 4 weeks ago that I was going to get the FREE map updates... well I am still waiting.... so can anyone tell me how long from when you where told you would get it to getting it took?

Once you have poi on a SD card. Can you remove the card if you don't want to see the icons and then reinstall it SD card later and have them back on?

Does anyone know if the vehicle codes in those states allow for attaching windshield GPS mounts such as the one Garmin supplies with the Nuvi 660.

I got my Nuvi350 in July 2007 and has City Navigator North America NT v8 [1] All under Map Info. And, Software Version 4.60. Can somebody tell me if I need to install any updates (for the new maps or softwares) from Garmin?

I did a product compare on the Garmin website between the Nuvi 670, 750, 760, 770 and cannot say that the new series seems to offer a heck of a lot more...

Also the specs for the Nuvi 750, 760, 770 seem damned near identical.

I need ur help! Because I messed up my tomtom one map from my sd card. I deleted something from the sd card. after I turned on my gps, the map didn't show the street. only Blank screen. even I try to find some poi, it cant show anything on the screen. Pls help!

I’m confused about the poi file format .csv and .gpx for garmin …
I know both formats used to list the poi but what is the main difference between them ??
Why to use .csv not the .gpx ?? or the other way ..
Which one is better with less error..??
If I want to go for a file with huge no. of poi which format shall I go with..??

New GPS owner, and confused. I drive a motor coach and it would be helpful if I could add files to my GPS which will result in specific "points of interest" (to me) being depicted along the interstate as I drive. I have created some waypoints using EasyGPS and uploaded them to the POI folder on my C550.
