What Is The Best Way To Resolve Errors Found Using JaVaWa Device Manager?

I used JaVaWa Device Manager to rename some files, but I noticed that I have eight errors. Six of the errors are USA OSM Auto maps. The six, which are:
US Auto Midwest
US Auto Mountain
US Auto Northeast
US Auto Pacific
US Auto South Atlantic
US Auto South Central
The message for all six of them is:
Error: segment codes from this file reside in other files. This will cause problems with routing and/or displaying maps.
When I Google this I get this:
AI Overview
This error appears when diagnostic tools like JaVaWa Device Manager detect duplicate map tile or segment identifiers (IDs) across multiple .img files installed on a Garmin GPS device. It means two different map files are trying to use the same internal codes for different geographic areas or overlapping data.
Why This Happens
Overlapping Maps: You have installed two different map sets (such as a custom OpenStreetMap and an official Garmin map, or a regional map and a small country map) that cover the same area using identical internal segment numbers.
Redundant Data: Separate add-on files like standalone contour lines or DEM elevation files clash with segment codes inside the main routable map.
Device Confusion: The GPS navigation unit cannot tell which map segment to read for routing or rendering, leading to calculation failures or missing map sections.
How to Fix It
Delete Redundant Files: Remove the duplicate or overlapping .img file from your device if another larger map already covers that region.
Disable One Map: If you need to keep both files on the unit, turn off one of the conflicting map sets via your GPS device's map settings menu so only one is active at a time.
Combine Maps Properly: Merge multiple custom OSM map tiles into a single unified .img file using specialized tools (like gmaptool or an online OSM combiner) before transferring it to your device.
What I am wondering is if these are all in conflict with the Open Map Chest maps or something else?
What would be the best way to fix this?

Disable the OMC map and test.
You need to totally disable that Open Map Chest map image file to test to verify that it's causing the errors.
Turning off the map(s) from the device's map settings menu on the unit won't necessarily pinpoint the issue.
Older Garmin devices let you disable the mapsets from being seen and parsed by the unit at boot up by changing the map's filename extension from .img to something else.
This no longer works on newer Garmins (unsure when they started this) as all files (the .img extension is ignored) in the Garmin folder will be read and parsed by the device and used if it's a valid mapset.
To disable the map from being seen by the unit, either:
1. Delete the mapset .img file from the device. This can be very time consuming because if you need to copy the file back to the device's internal storage, you are limited by the device's interface speed which can be very slow depending on the device.
2. This is the preferred way that I use: Create a folder, any name (I use "disabled maps") on the device's internal storage. It could be in the root of the device's storage or even within the Garmin folder (of course in it's own separate folder within the Garmin folder). After the folder is created on the device, MOVE (not copy) the mapset .img file to this folder. This will be pretty much instantaneous since the file is remaining on the device itself. You are not deleting it, just changing where it's located.
With the file out of the Garmin root folder, it will NOT be seen by the device so it won't be parsed or used.
Test the unit again for errors and repeat with the different mapsets.
If you have the mapsets on the external storage, again create a "disabled maps" folder and move the file to that folder to disable it. I don't however know how the device scans the external storage for mapsets so you may need to experiment with the location of the "disabled map" folder.
I'd think that the Open Map Chest map is the one causing the issues because it's from a totally different source than the others you've mentioned.
