When got my Nuvi I was given a "Super Saver" card and SD with it. Glad I did not pay for it b/c it has turned out to be nearly worthless. Everytime I have tried to use it I have had a problem, either they have no clue what it is or that they even except it and in most cases have outright refused to honor it. For awhile I would call the number provided but finally just gave up.

I am new to the GPS world. I just downloaded a POI and ran the uploader software. Where can I expect to see the info on my GPS? I looked under Extras. It searched and the page said Custom POIs, but there was nothing on the list. What am I doing wrong?

i just loaded the low clearance poi, and was wondering if the 330 will alert me if and when i get close to a tunnel etc. anybody know?

I recentley had to contact Garmin C/S and have say I received outstanding service .I called for a 2008 update and they sent it to me in 2 days no charge.

I found a restaurant to add to my 350 addresses. How can I get it to be listed so that I can find it under "Food"?

Hi there...I called up garmin...they didnt offer the update for free...i got my c340 in jan...since so many of u have it free...i was wondering if anyone could share their unlock codes..its really doesnt seem fair that some people have to pay for the update when others dont just because of a few months difference...

Does anyone know of a quick button or point on the screen to hit to do a quick return to the map view on a NUVI 6xx unit? Currently, when I have to, say go change the time zone, I then have to hit a bunch of "Back" buttons to get back to the map instead of a single point button, similar to the older unit I used to have (an iQue).

Due to occasional ambient noise (window open, stereo, kids, etc) I find that at times my C-340 just is not loud enough. I do have it either at the top volume level, or just one below. "It is said that your hearing is the second thing that goes as you get older...I just can't remember the 1st! .................."

Got my nuvi 680 about 3 weeks ago, and I really like it.
I've been on the road a bit so I'm a wee little slow in picking up various tricks.

The ironic thing is, I am actually naturally good with directions and whatnot. I go driving and try and get myself lost. I figured the GPS would be a cool toy to find other ways around

Few comments/thoughts/questions:

I'm new to the world of GPS and have just purchased a Garmin c530. I joined this forum and downloaded the red light POI's.

The Garmin Nuvi 350 will give the user a .2(ten's) of a mile voice alert before an upcoming scheduled turn. Sometimes this can come as a lane change on a busy traffic day. Is there any way to change the alert to say .4 (ten's) of a mile or better before the actual turn is upon the user. If there is someway in the config, I can not find it.
