i have been trying to contact the customer service in regards to my free upgrade since i purchased my unit on August 7, but every time i have tried it shows busy signals. Does anybody have the same issue?

I just want to take some of the neat ICONS and put them on my Garmin nuvi 350 and be able to select those for my POI's that I already have in my Garmin, example McDonalds I want to be able to select that icon from my list of Icons is this possible. I have the POI loader and can attach all to my computer? Thanks for any suggestions or point in in the correct direction.

I have an outdated poi file csv of red light cameras,on my c330. Do they have to be removed before I download a new list from this site, or does it overwrite. If it needs to be removed, how do I go about it>

Hi everyone... I have been in China for about 3 weeks and have stopped over in Vancouver BC for a week before returning to Los Angeles. I have an updated red-light camera list and see red-light cameras all over but no warning when I approach them. Any ideas?

Today, with no warning, all sounds coming from my Nuvi 670 became inaudible, as if the speakers cracked. All the sounds were "fuzzy" and completely undiscernible.
It appears that my internal speakers failed. I verified the speaker problem by connecting the headphone jack to my car stereo and then by switching over to the FM transmitter. The audio was acceptable when I did those two steps.

Has anyone purchased and loaded the Map update 2008 City Nav. North America NT for a garmin yet? If so is there many changes?

Nuvi 650 questions: Is there a simple way to make a POI a 'Favorite'? If so, how? Likewise, if I am viewing a map, is there a way to add a location to a Favorite? Thanks, from a new user.

Hi all, I'm new to the forums as well as GPS. I just ordered a Garmin C530 for work purposes (Tow Truck Driver). Ive been wanting one for awhile and found one on-line for 249.99 which I feel is a fairly good price for getting my feet wet. As I said, I got it for work, but after reading many posts on this forum its looks like it could also be a great hobby (just what I need, ANOTHER hobby)!

I'm not sure if I was having a temporary failure with my Garmin C550, We parked in New York and I took my GPS with me in hand. Throughout the city (Manhattan) I couldn't get a GPS fix. Is this normal as the tall buildings block the # of satellites needed to get a fix? Could I have done something (setting) to get a fix? I don't seem to have this problem in Boston.

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I just purchased my first GPS (Garmin Streetpilot c580). I'm looking forward to learning a lot of useful information from you all.

I would like to know what is the most rugged, precise and expensive portable gps unit there is out there.

All it needs to do is have gps navigation, traffic updates and weather (preferably full scale live weather with doppler radar, wind, etc. Be readable and operable to the operator while bouncing in a truck.

Let's say that money was no object. What is available out there?

Have a nuvi 370. Are "Favorites" and "Recent Selections" accessible outside of the nuvi. That is, do I have access to those locations in some file. If I can access that data, is it in a usable format.

Doesn't anybody know how to put addresses and phone numbers in a poi file instead of just long lat and exit 24 or exit 232 or the state that they are for
