Just a suggestion (page links near top)

Here's a suggestion for Jon and Miss POI. When a topic has so many posts that it creates additional pages (2,3,4,etc.), how about putting the additional pages link at the top of the first page of the topic, as well as at the bottom. That way, those of us who have been following a particular topic can just click on the page we want to go to, rather than have to scroll (albeit quickly) to the bottom of the first page to get to the additional pages link.

Other forums I belong to do this, and it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jon and Miss Poi for an excellent site.

Garmin 765T...Is it about the destination, or is it about the journey?

hmm

I though I've seen this on here already. I can't seem to find a post that has over 2 pages to confirm. It could be that I saw this on another forum.

found it

yup, that feature you mention has already been implemented.

multi page posts

As cheweez78 states, the page #'s are at the top of the post, well just below to initial post of the thread.

However, my question is ... why does it go to page one when trying to access just the new posts. On all one page threads when you click on the number indicating the new posts, you jump straight to those. On multi-page threads, you get directed to page one - not the new posts at the bottom of page 'x'. Can this be corrected/changed??

First Page with New Posts

This works correctly from the "Unread Posts" page but not from other pages on the site.

The web platform we're using has a bug that shows up on the "Recent Posts", "Discussion", and "Tracker" pages. I was able to work around this on the "Unread Posts" page because it is custom built.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
