Exactly how do you use POI lists in C340

I recently downloaded several POI lists from this site and it was very easy. I now have another button under favorites, "custom POI's"
I was looking for a local WalMart so I used that button and it brought up WalMart and the green GO button, but no address. Is this normal for POI lists or did something go wrong with the upload?

I can't speak for the Walmart file, however it is up to the author what information to put in to the file. At a minimum, a POI file needs to have the Latitude, Longitude, and a name or description. Most people add in the address and many times a phone number.

Most Poi’s will show
Most Poi’s will show additional information such as address and phone number (phone numbers when possible). This particular file called Walmart Stores is missing the address to the stores. I did notice that the second Walmart file called Walmart + Supercenters has the address list. Try that file out and see if it’s good enough for you bud.

yes, I have the same POI,
yes, I have the same POI, that is how the POI was created, with just the name, not address.

Sounds Like a project you might want to take on Mike, adding addresses to the locations.
