I thought maybe someone with the knowledge of how to create and edit POI's could update the location of the Walmart in Hayward, Wisconsin. It is currently about 7 or 8 miles south of the true location. I don't know how to make this change to POI's or I would attempt to do the change myself. I don't know what the lon/lat positions are, but here is the current address.

we are in USA (TN and other states arround TN) for holidays in May/June and in the manual of our garmin nuvi we read something about usage of gps in cars in USA.
So, we want to ask, if it´s legal to put our gps on the front window of our rental car or if it is illegal???

This is the day where we wish Happy Mother's Day to all the patient mothers of the World.

Haven't figured out why there are two types of files for Garmin the csv and gpx both do the same thing I.ve looked at them both in POI editor and see no difference. Both work actually the same way do the same things. What was the point?

I uploaded several POIs for Gas stations TimHortons Rerd Light Camera and speed zones updates.I don't see them on here.Where did they go?

There are factory refurb Nuvi 660 models being sold on Ebay which do NOT have the expected FM transmitter. This may not be a big deal, since the transmitter is weak, and not very useful on many vehicles, but you should know before you buy. Some of the auction items neglect to mention this. Still, not a bad deal. I paid less than $150.

I have uploaded a new Low Clearance File. It is not complete nor 100% accurate. I have been cleaning it, adding locations and descriptions. Any input from the community will be greatly appreciated.

Always Turn Off Stolen GPS Units
It was only a matter of time before some numbskull criminal stole a GPS-equipped car or phone, but we didn't expect someone to steal live GPS units. A group of crooks in Lindenhurst, NY swiped 14 functioning GPS devices from the Town of Babylon Public Works. Understandably, authorities had no trouble tracking them down.

Since I have found that everyone on this GPS web site is very tech savy, and since I really do value your ideas, I would like to ask a question to the group that is un related to a GPS and see what you think. I am planning on purchasing a surrond sound theater and am trying to determine whether to buy an up-convert DVD unit or a Blu-ray unit.

hi all...i'm a newbe and am floundering already. Iv'e tryed at least 12 times to load and launch garmins poiloader. All it does is unzips, asks me to agree to conditions, i check box to go further,then click done and the program just closes out! what am i doing wrong? It does that everytime. I toast the program and reload it and does exactly the same thing.

But, now I am back and looking around again and there is this "Progress toward active status" thing I noticed. What is this? Are we being graded on our participation? Has a some kind of caste system been established?

Where Can i find Vancouver,Bc School,s POI For Garmin Nuvi 760?

I have a pillar for the Colorado Pillar file. It is on Owl Creek Pass Road and was seen in the movie "True Grit". It is know as Chimney Rock. It is close to two counties, but I would consider it in Ouray County. Owl Creek Pass is one mile north of Ridgeway Colorado and head east. It is a dirt and gravel road with some washboard spots, but a car can go over it.
