I mentioned to my wife that Billy Mays had died. She replied "that's awful! I can't believe Willie Mays is gone." I guess there are a few people that didn't know him.

Yea, that is unbelievable. I live in the Tampa area and we heard it early yesterday. On Saturday he was interviewed on local TV about the hard landing and said he hit his head.

Billy was of an age where he might indeed have named for baseball star Willie Mays. I'm sure there's a story there somewhere.
Yeah, so everybody assumed Billy died yesterday of a subdural hematoma or some other issue related to bumping his head, because that can happen. Hit your head, go to sleep, nobody's monitoring you to make sure you're okay, you can deteriorate markedly or even die after a head injury. But the preliminary ruling is that there was no sign of head trauma and the flight had nothing to do with Billy's death. They think his death was a result of heart disease.

Billy Mays was quite a pitch man. We just watched an entertaining news story on him just a few weeks ago. It is ashamed that he died.

Coronors Report
According to the Coronors report there was no sign of head trauma, but he had hypertensive heart disease, which he said is a common cause of sudden death.

While I will always feel saddened to learn of the death of a fellow Human Being....How am I going to know what I need to buy from now on???? This is all too confusing. Maybe my elected representatives can help me out from now on...Or maybe the Sham WOW guy will help me.

In the paper they said he had some heart problems that he may not have known about. It's too bad because on the reality show the Australian guy and Mays said they research products before they pitched it and only pitched items and companies that worked. I have bought items not from TV but from the store that they have pitched.
