Certainly some potential tie-in to GPS usage in vehicles. More research remains to be done, but the general conclusions at this stage are that high multitaskers hurt their ability to perform.

Can anyone tell me how to load icons into the existing
Garmin library for a 765T, and in what file on the Garmin are they stored? My company is a service provider for Exxon and 7-Eleven and I would love to customize the icon.

i have been looking into the 465t unit ..... hope someone knows ...... does the sd card hold and read poi files and what is the biggest card (4gig) i can use in the unit it states its a mass storage unit.... im an OTR and i do have the time to check out alot of stuff while driving .....

Article on CNN today (8/28/09) about maps you can create yourself and load onto your Garmin (a bit more effort for other brands).

hi all, just got a new garmin 765t and stumbled across this forum with a google search. I wanted to stop in and say hi; I plan on visiting here quite a bit as I do alot of traveling for work.

Take a look on Google Earth at this location and see what some are claiming is a picture of the Loch Ness monster. It looks like a boat and wake to me but they say it is 65 feet long.

How do you delete an active route from the Add/Remove Points. I have press the minus sign but it is still there. Help.

Google Maps can now show you live traffic information on side streets just as it did for highways. Currently it is only available on select cities – but as Google completes its world domination more cities are sure to follow.

To see detail traffic conditions at street level just zoom-in and look for the “Traffic” button.

This is my first post, and a question I am embarrassed to post. But here it goes:
Just downloaded Rest Areas Combined to my Mac. I open POI loader, browse to the POI file, but it is not highlighted for the POI Loader to select.

Before posting I did numerous searches, and combed the FAQs.

Any guidance is appreciated.

New to POI downloads....have a Garmin Nuvi 750. Downloaded & installed the POI that I wanted via the new POI Loader courtesy of Garmin USA. That was fine & kind of straight forward..(thanks to the POI loader and not me). However the icons, i.e. bitmap pixs are of course not installed. How does one do that????

I have a Garmin GPSMap 478 and I would like to know if POI Loader will work with my gps and if not is there a update i can download so it will ?

I have downloaded the following Poi's with sound.
Wal-mart, Sam's Rest area, and home depot. The only sounds that are working are Wal-mart and Sam's Am i missing something here. Is their a certian amount of costom Poi you can install on a unit. Is thier an order for installing them. I have a garmin nuvi 760

First I want to say that I did a search for "AggData" on this site and nothing was found. If it has been discussed, I appologize in advance.

My husband and I are planning a cross country trip. We'll be traveling in our truck and 28' travel trailer. We have four small dogs and 2 cats which will also be going with us (yes, I know we sound crazy).

I need help gettinbg POI loader to work with GSAk for loading geocaches into my Nuvi. I have this set up on my laptop with XP but I can not get the path corectly in vista.
Has anyone had this problem. I have tried I think all posibilities. Any help or suggestions will help.
