On behalf of my entire family, a most heartfelt thanks to those who served and serve our country and to every one of their family members and friends who shared in that amazing dedication!

Hy-Vee

Barbara & I visited the Hy-Vee in Moline this morning for the veterans breakfast brunch. Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse are thanking us veterans with a meal on them today as well.
I enjoy seeing all the WW2 guys out and about.

Veterans Day!

exclaim Brave men and women gave their lives, so we can enjoy the freedoms that we have in the United States today. We have it pretty darn good, and at times we forget the Mother, Father, Wife, Child that stand before a grave marker to say hello to their loved one!

I thank all of those who gave the ultimate sacrafice to our country!

Couldn't have said it better. I am a VET and this weekend I saw a man with a haircut that resembled a military person. I asked if he was in the service. He replied "Yes". I shook his hand and told him "Thanks for serving our country". A tear came to his eye. A while back, while at the airport, I saw a bunch of Army people in their camoflage attire getting off an airplane. I started clapping my hands, which got everyone in the area to start clapping as well. Thanks to all our Vets and God Bless America.
