I will be heading south on the Memorial Day long weekend and plan to head down I-25 through Denver. My plan is to pass through Denver on Tuesday morning - AFTER the holiday.

What is traffic like on the I-25 through Denver ? I think I'll be passing through around 10:30 - 11:30 AM. Is it worth the extra money to take the 470 Toll Road?

how would you like to be able to communicate in the future with out tipping on this site. with simplicity where you can explain in more detail how to solve issue with your GPS by using your voice and eliminating the hassle of typing,and eliminating the specifics of what some one is trying to say.

I apoligize if this question has been address in the past, but could someone tell me how to use Icons and sound files on Nuvi 765T?

Because we only have the one nuvi 660 and switch between cars, we were without it the other night, in bad weather and on a particular expressway where once you get on, hang on tight, it will be miles before you can exit or u-turn. Reminds me of northern VA around the Memorials on the other side.

I'll start driving cab in NYC. I have no problem with the roads an rules but I'm having problem with POI's. That's why I need a GPS device.
I'm also not very good at out of town locations. However, %90 of trips occurs in Manhatan.

To sum up, I need a GPS device which has:
1) Extensive POI database
2) Strong signal reception
3) Fast routing
4) Text-to-Speech function(TLC rules :S)

I just wanted to share how a POI Factory member went above and beyond expectations for another member--whom he didn't even know! GPX files and TourGuides are some of the coolest newer technologies for GPS enthusiasts; but, they require a little training to get them up and running just right--especially if you are new to the craft.

Where is the best place to download mp3's. I know I'm 10 years behind the times. I used Napster in 1999 when it was still free. I lost interest when it started charging. I've looked at them and Amazon and emusic, but I'm wondering if there is some, preferably cheaper, place I've overlooked.

I am amazed how many people I've run into lately who never owned or used a GPS. Took a long drive with a neighbor and he had his Google map printed out I asked about using a GPS and he said never. I told him about POI'S and red light camera alerts and speed camera poi's he was surprised these web sites even existed.

Know anyone who doesn't use or have faith in GPS'S...just curious.

I will be taking my uncle to the VA for a bone marrow transplant this week. Any suggestions on parks/wildlife areas to visit? He enjoys the flowers and birds. We will be staying a couple miles from the VA.

It is suggested when creating an icon that the size be a maximum of "24X24" Is that 24 pixels X 24 pixels? I am trying to create an icon for Pacific Pride Fuel Stations and that size is pretty limiting. In other words instead of trying to fit the entire name in the icon should I just use the initials? Forgive my ignorance but I'm pretty new at this!

It's commonplace now for business websites to post maps and buttons to get driving directions. Some businesses, like Flying J, try to post waypoint files (see here: http://www.flyingj.com/flyingjPortalWebProject/flyingjPortal...) but what I was able to download had mistakes in it, and Firefox was not able to download it at all.

Pretty funny, but I'm easily amused.
