I purchased the red light alerts and wish to use the use the Emily mp3. I have communicator and POI loader, I am able to load the POI files but not the mp3's (although I can drag it over into the mp3 section). Any suggestions on getting Emily to speak the alerts? Thanks
.
1. Did you download the MP3 file to your computer?
2. Did you rename the MP3 file so that it is identical to Custom POI file with which you wish it to be associated (except for the file extension)?
3. Did you place the MP3 file and the Custom POI file in the same folder on your computer?
4. Did you select this folder as the source of the data when you used POI Loader to load the Custom POIs to the GPS unit?
.
You'll need to name the files the same i.e. redlight_cams.gpx and redlight_cams.mp3. Same if you want to use an icon; use redlight_cams.bmp
Put them in the same folder, and then use the loader.

Thank you for the advice
I placed speed_cameras.mp3 and redlight-cameras.mp3 in the POI file and will test it tomorrow, I appreciate both of your responses.
On a different subject; I can load any POI and it comes up clean in the directory expect for the Flyin_J_travel_plaza.csv. When I load the FlyingJ I do not get a directory I just get the totally expanded file and no access to other POI files. Any suggestions? Thank you.
.
Have you put it in a separate folder like, 'Travel'?

Tried creating a sub-folder
Tried creating a sub-folder within POI.gpi and also within the POI, and also within the root; no luck. I can live with this the way it is but I like to stop at FlyingJ's so this would be nice to have.

It needs to be put in your Garmin/POI folder on the computer first. Then, use the loader. That's what you're doing, correct?

Alright, here is what
Alright, here is what worked; talk about taking the long way around Kelly's barn.....
I removed all POI's and loaded the FlyingJ; then created a FlyingJ folder and moved the file into the folder.
Then reloaded all the rest of the POI's. All files now open correctly but there is something in the FlyingJ file that erases all the other POI's (at least in the Nuvi 350).
Thanks for your help.

You may want to review the process see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721 .Make sure you are loading all the files at one time.Every time you run poiloader it replaces all the other custom poi files.
