Does anyone know an easier way to know, how many miles i will be travelling, if I put an address into my nuvi 680. Right now I have to go through all the directions (on the bottom right of the device and see the last direction to see total miles to be travelled)

Wondering if any of you friendly people knew of a good audio book web site

I am planning a trip to the BWCA and I have found some custom poi's. Can I few these in the garmin software or can I only view them on the unit itself. I have tried a few different things and searching a few things but I cant figure it out. I would like to be able to plan my trip then just upload it on my unit later.

Please let me know if this makes any sense at all.

I will be traveling from Baton Rouge, LA to Georgetown, TX. So I just ran a get directions on Google, Mapquest, and Yahoo and compared to my Garmin suggested route (Map Version 2008). Three different results came up. Google and Mapquest agree, and the others are different. I am now wondering which route is the best to take.

Does anyone know if there is a specific link (other than the generic support link) or e-mail address to send suggestions to Garmin?
It looks like there are many great ideas on this forum that might never be seen by Garmin even though they may look at this site occasionally.

I found that many internal POI addresses in City Navigator North America NT 2008 are wrong. Is there a way I can change them myself? Or do I have to import custom POIs of right addresses?

One more question, can I edit the internal POIs myself?

Has anybody figured out how to show your actual speed in the bottom right hand corner of the screen instead of the arrival time.

Does the nuvi 650 automatically change its time when I cross a time zone when driving from Arizona (Moutain Time) to California (Pacific Time)? The time I refer to is the Destination Time.

Hi everybody, new guy here. I'm loading POIs into a 1 gig SD card. When I do this some of the POIs that I had loaded to the SD card earlier have disapearred when viewed on the Nuvi 650. Example: Wineries, KOA, Good Sam have disapearred! Question: If I am loading new POIs into a SD card, does it remove some of the pre-loaded stuff to make room for the new stuff if the space is limited?

Does anyone know how/where I can report map inaccuracies?

I have the City NT 2008 and a wrong exit number is showing up.

Maybe someone can help. Does anyone know if its possible to format or reimage a demo nuvi 680 version. These are the ones that are in bestbuy or any major brand store. They are basically the display models all the features are there except is programmed as a demo version. Any input would be appriciated.

Does anyone know if the Magnetic antenna mount sold as accessory for the nuvi 300 (and others) really boosts the signal strength? I seem to have to wait a long while at times for my unit to find a signal. I was wondering if anyone has used the exterior Magnetic antenna and what you thought of it.

All in all, I love my Nuvi. But, there are a couple things about it that run from annoying to flat out exasperating that I need to share. Maybe I am just missing something in the setting that can save me from myself.

i updated the Nuvi 660 when the 4.3 update first came out and have found a bug. if the traffic reciever is warning of traffic on the route the next turn button (lower right corner) when touch will only give traffic instead of next turn.
