I'm not exactly sure what you are asking.

Are you asking how to find addresses on your 660?

If that's what you are asking, you go to Where to? > Address > (specify either the state you are in or another state) > (spell the city you want or select Search All) > Enter House Number > done > Enter Street Name > Done > Select the result you are looking for.

Since you ask about software, I wonder if you are asking something else. If so, please get us more details.

i want to know how to create map (.img file)

Making your own maps is quite a bit of work. Here's a little information to get you started. Particularly look a the first to tutorial links. Making the map routable and the addresses searchable is a bunch more work.

I'm pretty sure that you would have to manually input all that address information into your custom maps if you want the addresses to be searchable. Again, it's a TON of work. There's no magic wand.

Also...

...if you remember the 'homemade' New Zealand map issue; the Automotive Garmins couldn't search them anyway. (Something to do with cgpsmapper only creating the non-NT style maps, and the later Garmins only seaching the "NT" variety. (I think!)

But this might have been overcome recently - I've not tried it...
...it's a BIG learning curve!

it's a TON of work?

Dear ,
i don't understand. what is TON of work? please, explain me.

thank you

.

I meant that it is a lot of work. Lots and lots and lots and bunches and bunches and bunches of work.

You must manually input the information.

And as Phil has indicated, the units that use the NT maps (the current units) apparently might not search the addresses anyway.

good one MM
