"updated the privacy policies" recently???

The email it is sent from is "reply@email1.garmin.com
That is "email1, the number one after email.
Somehow this does not look legit to me.

CN EU 2020.10 NTU now available

I was looking at the Garmin GPSMAP 66i (GPS and Satellite Communicator) and noticed that it is "Available exclusively at REI." Has Garmin ever done this in the past with any other products? For those here that have more retailing and marketing experience than I do, which is pretty much everybody, is that a good move for Garmin? Is that a good move for REI?

So it appears Garmin dropped the prices on the auto navigators by $50. Not sure how long ago they did this but does anyone know if this is a temporary reduction or now the new permanent pricing structure?

Both my old nuvi 755T and nuvi 855 are showing software updates available today for GPS Chipset type M) to "fix a possible bug in the reported date". I suspect this is a carry-over from April 6 2019 "Week Rollover" date issue that has been discussed in other threads.

I am really seeking an help right now. I have a Garmin GPS device. It originally has europe map installed in it. However, I want to add US map as i moved here. I bought it online but it's not getting installed and giving an error "unable to install this content". Kindly advise me for this

My Drive Assist51 when plugged in is flashing the Garmin screen off and on then shows garmin with a white line across the screen then the screen goes black then shows the garmin then garmin and white line then goes black over and over again. I have it plugged into a wall usb now but it does the same thing with the vehicle plug.

Just received my new Garmin 56 Dash Cam.Not so cheap.It is very small compared to most.There is no real set up instructions so one must download Garmin drive app for cell phones to see the instructions.The unit has a menu which will get you started but when connected to cell phone app by bluetooth it is easier to navigate.

GE v 6.14.2.0 ready to download. Is map update on the way???

Here's one that's been bugging me for years.

Sometimes (really, more often than you'd like to think) when searching for something fairly common, you get bogus results.

I like to know where I am when I fly. During the last eight commercial airplane flights I've taken over the last 18 months, I have not been able to maintain GPS reception on any of my Garmin devices. This is also the case with my iPad Mini and iPhone XS.

I understand if you put the word GATSO in the POI file name, the Garmin will alert for any points in that file.

It's said that you put a number after that, it will announce at a particular distance; and that's the part I'm not sure I understand.

If I want an alert to sound one mile before such a point, what number do I put in the file name?

I have a issue with smartnav in peterbilt truck.. say's aquiring satellites. . I installed a new antenna. Still no signal

Here's an odd one and, arguable not all that important. Still odd.

I picked up a T-Mobile SyncUp Drive for my car as I'm a T-Mobile customer AND want to use it with my Escort Max360C (radar detector) without my phone being the middle man. The phone being a middle man via bluetooth with Escort's application is kind of a PITA.

Just came back from a trip in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland... Via a tour group... Liked the Fjord areas of Norway the best.

I was wondering:

If we decide to do this again in the future, I think I'd rather want to drive around there, staying at local hotels... instead of going with a tour group...
