Last week, the 12/24-volt adapter/external speaker for my StreetPilot 2730 stopped working. I tried in both outlets of my car and both outlets of my wife's car - no dice.

Before I shell out 35+ bucks for a new one, would I be able to replace any of the parts instead? I unscrewed the tip of the charger, and saw a cylindrical bulb-like part. Can this be replaced?

Does anyone out there have the Garmin specs for HEADPHONE vs LINEOUT signal levels and bandwith ?

I have a Nuvi 200w and wish to use the logging option which, I understand, only works up to through 3.4 version. I have the 3.4 and attempted to load using Webupdater. I can't get to override version 4.0 on the unit. Any help?

I have a Nuvi 360 and in the summer season, I take out my 2002 Sea-Doo jetski out to the local lakes or rivers.

However when I want to go to new places like Lake Candlewood in CT or some new places nearby, I find the GPS routes me onto parkways in NY... if you didn't know....trailers and trucks (larger than a pickup truck) or any trailers for that matter, are banned on parkways in NYS.

Is it possible to save custom POI's in sub-categories already established? I want my Cracker Barrel listings so they show up as a food destination along with other food . Can I create a new sub-category like 'camping' that will show with food, lodging, shopping, etc on the list of sub-categories? I have a nuvi 750

i have a img europe map on sd card but i dont know how to open on garmin

Can anyone explain the difference between updates done via myDashboard through a browser and the ones done using WebUpdater?

What I have gathered is that using myDashboard updates all voices/text if you want them or not, while WebUpdater lets you choose which ones you want.

I downloaded a file I named Walmart.CSV along with an icon which I named Walmart.Bmp, both downloaded from this site into a common folder.
Using POI loader I then downloaded the contents to my NUVI 660. (Or at least thought I did.)
The Walmart list arrived okay but the icons do not appear.
Where am I going wrong?

Just returned from a trip to Charlottesville. My Nuvi 350 took me where ever I needed to go, including the Boar's Head Inn, where I stayed, Monticello (Jefferson's home), Montpelier (James Madison's home), & Ashlawn (Pres Monroe's home). Enjoyed Skyline Drive for my return to the Washington, D.C. area.

I hava a Garmin nuvi 750 and it has such a problem:

GARMIN Nuvi 850. How do I find the files loaded to the 850 i.e. voice files. Also, When I look at the SD Card inserted in the NUVI, it shows I have 6MB loaded but when I open the POI file there is nothing there. When I look in Extras in the 850, they are all there. I just want to find all the files in the 850 and can't..Charlie

When do the 2010 Maps come out?

Is it possible to have 2 separate volumes?
1 for directions and 1 for Blue-tooth telephone?

Is the Garmin Nuvi 850 a old model or new.

I bought a Nuvi 755T about a month ago and it came with a free map update which expired on July 1. I attempted to apply the update yesterday (July 1) and found that it had already expired. I figured if should have been available on July 1 or the expiration date should have been June 30.
Lesson to be learned - don't wait until the last minute or it could already be too late.

I recently bought a Nuvi 750. Works well with 4.80 formware. However, it came pre-loaded with NT maps AND MAD maps. How can I delete the MAD maps?

I have a nuvi265WT. In the past, my voice prompt was specifically telling me >>>make right turn on East 32 St, It now tells me >>>> make right turn at .2 miles. I think I downloaded something that I shouldn't have. Can anyone tell more what the heck I did, and how to correct this. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

I have downloaded and installed the red light camera and stop light camera files and their alert sounds. I recognize what these look like when they "go off".

In addition to these, however, and in only one place, near the Pentagon Mall in VA., my Garmin Nuvi 650 goes off with a ding-ding sound, and displays a red band at the top labeled "Speed Alert".

I just purchased a Nuvi 1300 to replace my C340. I used Easy GPS to save my favorites/POIs/waypoints/etc. I used Easy GPS to transfer my gpx file to the Nuvi 1300 just like I used to do with my C340. I even copy & pasted into Garmin's GPX folder. In the past I had transfered files to the C340 after updating several times with Easy GPS with no problems.
