Searching Nuvi POIs

I have a Garmin Nuvi 205. When we're out of town the POI search function is WONERFUL!

Now, I add "extra" POIs... How do I search the "extras"? Can I search ALL POIs (Standard and custom)?

Does anyone have exerience with this?

No

Not at the same time. The POIs provided with the maps are separate from any custom POIs.

John,

They are two separate databases and each has to be searched individually. One thing about the Custom Poi is you know what files are there so you can usually search these faster. The built-ins are kind of a "I'm feeling lucky" if you are searching for a place to eat.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was expecting... Oh well.

I think it'd be a cool feature for a future release maybe... Garmin, you listening?
