POI Slowing down the search

Hi I have a c530 and now have over a half million custom POI's. I created sub folders for them so they can be in an organized manner. I did notice that when I search for a POI now it is taking longer to find them then it used to. Is there such a thing as loading too many POI's? I have them all loaded on an SD card.

It's nothing but a mini

It's nothing but a mini computer - you are using up more memory and the processing time increases with having to search more files in memory !
I can't even imagine having (or needing) a half million Custom POIs since there are already about 6 million in the built-in POIs.
Just my thinking !

Just wanted to make sure that...

Just wanted to make sure that the slowing down was not because I created sub folders for my custom pois. And I was just wondering would it effect the Garmin c530 as far as drawing maps and regular operation if there were too many POI's on it. I figured since they are all on the SD card everything should be OK.
P.S. I agree about having all those POI's on the unit but for some reason I am trying to see how many I can collect, some sort of addiction I suppose, lol!
