The Garmin Tread product uses MURS (Multi-Use-Radio-Service) for radio technology, which means that you do not have to file a license with the FCC in order to use this product.

It has the five MURS channels and allows PL/DPL or carrier squelch.

are the listed POI will work with Garmin DriveSmart 65? it didn't work with my second Garmin. my major question is what Garmin models, these POI are compositable with? please advise. Ali,

The 2021.10 map update was released on 2/19/2020 last year and the last map update, 2021.30, occurred on 12/03/2020, almost three months ago. March is a day away so the 2022.10 map update probably wont be too far behind.

Any thoughts or guesses? I'm certain the thought about a new map update must have passed though the minds of others as inquiring minds want to know.

Is anyone else having problems with the garmin servers and updates?
If i use garmin connect it tells me click retry and fails, if I try and update direct through the gps on wifi it fails.

Just wondering if it's me and my area or maybe something to do with the storm thats going on.

Garmin Express v7.3.1.0 ready to download.

I copied some voice files (*.vpm) from a nuvi 260 to a nuvi 2557.
When I try to use them on the 2557 I receive msg
'Incompatable Audio Version'

Any fix to this?

Seems lately my Dezl 770 loses arrival time at some point in route to a destination and shows direction of travel. If I go back in and again set destination it shows arrival time again. Any idea why this would be happening more lately.

Hi. I have an SD card from one Mercedes that I went to put into another Mercedes and the message that showed was that it was used in another vehicle. I changed VIN# in the "GarminDevice.xml" file but, I get the same message.

Is there a place to see a comparison chart for all of Garmin Traffic chargers? I know there is the TA20 Car charger and traffic antenna, the GTM-36, the GTM-60, etc.

I finally got around to updating my two Zumo units and in between the two an update for GE popped up.

7.3.0.0 now avalible for Windows.

I was trying to install maps to a Garmin Drivesmart 52. BaseCamp said the map install was successful. It kept the old map 2021.20 on the GPS unit and installed 2021.30 to the memory card. BaseCamp told me that there was not enough memory left on the main unit. I got a message stating that the Map could not be unlocked whenever the memory card was installed.

I am still happy with my old 3490 but I needed a second unit for a different vehicle and didn't want to spend a ton on a new unit so I went with a refurbed Drive 55 from GPSCITY for $99 vs. $229 or whatever it is now but then saw a review that said to stay away from the refurb models (after I purchased it of course) as they may have bad batteries or bad screens.

Does anybody know if Garmin previewed any new products at CES 2021? Specifically any automotive products?

I installed the latest version of Garmin Express, but it does not run. All I get is a Garmin Express windows and it run in cercle, I tried running it as administrator with the same result.
I tried everything I fund on the net with no result. I use Windows 10 up to date.
Any suggestion.
