What happens when using smartlink traffic and you lose data connection while driving?

If I am using smartlink traffic and I lose data while driving does it fallback to the FM traffic network?
As Long As Smartlink is connected,
As long as Smartlink is connected, the GPS will not use any other Traffic Service. If you lose cell connection, you would have to unpair your phone to get it to use Traffic. If you have no cell service, I can just about guarantee you don't have Traffic Service.
As long as you have cell service, SmartLink will have a data connection, if Internet is supported.
