New Car GPS
I'm in the market for a new GPS for my car/bike. I am not able to buy a Zumo so that is out. I am looking at the new 2455 and 2555. Anyone have any experience with them? Any suggestions? I am not really looking for Bluetooth or any of those bells and whistle. I would like to be able to create routes on Google or Mapquest and download them to the unit.
All help is greatly appreciated.

USB application gone wrong
I own a Nuvi 765 and use it with my motorcycle via a Ram mount. Recently, I decided to change my setup. Initially I was using the 765 with my nuvi 200's charger (connected to my cigarette lighter port under the seat). Using the 765's mini-usb port worked fine and I had no issues; however, I wanted to go USB so I could charge my iPhone on the road without carrying a bunch of adapters.

Friend bought a 1450 LMT -- I have Nuvi 660.. Will POI I use work in 1450 LMT?
A friend bought a 1450 LMT... I've a Nuvi 660
I use CSV files, and MP3 files for my POI's... And older POI Loader
Will this combination load POI's Successfully in her 1450 LMT ???
Or is there a difference in the POI loading procedure?

Nuvi 1350 East Longitude problem...
In preparation for 2012 Danube River cruise, I have begun to enter city locations complete with Google pictures. For some reason I cannot display places with a Longitude greater than 18.3 E with either gpx or csv format. The following cities are stored in the csv file (gpx file contains the same data) in this order.

garmin map updates
Have a 255W gps, am thinking about buying the new 2595lmt. If I do I wonder if I can load the maps from the new gps to my old 255W, anyone tried this?

Problem downloading Mapquest routes to Nuvi 2450lm
I just purchased a Nuvi 2450LM to replace my old Streetpilot c340. I have been trying for 2 days to download routes created on Mapquest to it and am getting nowhere fast. I have installed the Garmin communicator plugin Ver. 3.0.1.0 and the drivers. When I plug my Nuvi in with the USB cord, and go to the Garmin test page I get the message that my device is found and working properly.

Voice updates not "taking"
Webupater says there are new English-language voices. I install one or more of the new voices, including agreeing to the boilerplate. Installation progress proceeds without error.
When run again, Webupdater says there are new English-language voices, including the one or more I just installed.
What's up?

TTS Voice Edit (Change what Jill Says)
Just found TTS Voice edit a couple of days ago.My wife loves the GPS saying, "you missed the turn....dummy" rather than "recalculating" Simple to use and you can change anything She/he says as well as voice speed ect. Great tool. http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/TTSVoiceEditor

Trip Manitoba to Florida
Planing a trip to Florida by car and would like to hear from anyone who has made the trip and has information where the best places to stop at are. Google map shows different route than my Garmin. Which is right or better?
Any good POIs on the way that would be good to stop at?

Firmware 4.50
Where can I find Firmware 4.50 so that I can download to my garmin 3790lmt, it has Firmware 2.50. I search garmin and can't find 4.50.

24XX series question
Has anyone figured out how to get the unit out of PC mode while it is still connected to the computer? In other words so you can do maintenance, etc. I have only been able to get there while connected to a wall outlet.

Google Map (route sent to my Garmin)
I created a route in google map and sent it to my 3790lmt gps. I showed that it was sent. Where would I find the route that I created.

Jill mispronounces "County"
Does anyone else have this problem? I have a 2460LMT, updated the "Jill" voice to 2.90. Noticed that she now pronounces "County" as "Nounty", "Stearns" as "Stens". Is there any way to tweak?
I noticed that the rate of the 2.70 was set to 45 while the 2.90 version it is set to 11.

Passport IQ -- GPS and Radar Detector in One Unit...
I just saw an ad for this Passport IQ. It combines an Escort Radar Detector and a GPS built into one unit. Being that Escort is one of the best radar detectors, and the unit is using SiRFstar III and NAVTEQ maps, so it sounds like it may be a great unit, on paper.
Is Smartphone GPS with Google Maps as good as a standalone unit?
Can anybody share their experience?
