The Garmin 3490 got some new updates today. One of the update are new DASHBOARDS designs.

Per Garmin, The GTM 60 HD Digital Traffic Receiver provides traffic alerts with Digital 3D Traffic, the world’s most extensive traffic avoidance system.

I created a route in google map and sent it to my 3790lmt gps. I showed that it was sent. Where would I find the route that I created.

Does anyone else have this problem? I have a 2460LMT, updated the "Jill" voice to 2.90. Noticed that she now pronounces "County" as "Nounty", "Stearns" as "Stens". Is there any way to tweak?

I noticed that the rate of the 2.70 was set to 45 while the 2.90 version it is set to 11.

I just saw an ad for this Passport IQ. It combines an Escort Radar Detector and a GPS built into one unit. Being that Escort is one of the best radar detectors, and the unit is using SiRFstar III and NAVTEQ maps, so it sounds like it may be a great unit, on paper.

Does anyone know the difference between the New 3490 and the 3790 from last year?

Anybody can suggest where can I get a POI file with traffic cameras in Europe?

I just switched from an old Magellan system to a garmin 1350. After the turn instruction, I miss the bong bong of the magellan. Is there a way to add this sound after the turn instruction?

Just bought a harley edition Zumo 660. Our local harley store had a 30% off day so I had to do it. Found out by accident that there is a rebate current. If you go to the Harley web site and look in the Parts link, there is a link for a rebate that allows a free lifetime maps subscription. Pretty good deal, but not well advertized.

I installed a few maps from http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/ on my Dezl 560, and now I think I'd like to remove them. Is this as simple as deleting one file? Or do I need to re-install maps, but only the ones that I want to keep?

I need help to get voice alerts by using WAV files. I have done everything and follow all the instruction giving on this board of getting voice alerts using WAV files without MP3 capability but with no success. I honestly don't know what I did wrong but doesn't work on my unit. Can anyone please help me and show me steps by steps how you did it on your unit.

Hello all,

When I enter my friend's address, my GPS overshoots the location by about a half a block. I can get the right location by pressing the "coordinates" button but then I can't see the proper address info in my favorites file.

Does anyone know of another way to do this? I'm using the nuvi 1490lmt.

Just got back from a five state tour of the Northwest. Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming back thru Idaho to Oregon. Back the end of last month. Learned I have a lot to learn about setting up trips and learned a lot about setting up trips. But I always knew right where I was.

I have a 3790LMT, where can I find in Eco-Route the total mileage that was driven with out me doing all the adding. It gives total amout of gase use and the total amount spent for gas, but no total amount of miles driven.

Just return from a three weeks vacation in Tn, Va, Ga. The leave wasn't quite ready, but did enjoy what we saw. Took my 855 and my 3790. Both work great. I used the 9790 for my routes and my wife used the 855 to find restaurant and fast food places. The eta time was different by a couple of minutes,but,no problem. First time that my wife ever used the gps. She learned real quick.

My Nuvi 2450 has a very bad glare. What do you use for a glare shield and does it work well?

Is it feasible for me to convert gdb file for Nuvi 205?

I was hoping to ride a planned dual-sport motorcycle route tomorrow. This is a combination of public roads, with un-maintained road sections and snowmobile trails.

The club posted the route as a .gdb file. My GPS doesn't support routes, so I need to convert to coordinates to enter as individual destinations, or a POI file.

I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 1490 and its doesn't have MP3
capability. How do I go about get voice alerts using WAV files for the Garmin Nuvi 1490.
