Speed Camera Alert Problem

On Saturday we were coming home from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore when the Red Light camera voice warning and Speed camera warning both came on as both cameras were in/near the intersection. The beeping for the Speed camera would not stop, even though we had long since passed the Speed camera.

I don't believe the warning voice came on for the Speed camera, just the warning beep.

I turned the Nuvi 205 off for a minute or two, and then turned it on, but the beeping remained. The beeping stopped after the unit was off for an hour or so.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

Alerts setting

Is your GPS alerts setting set for single or continous beeps ??

A Few Beeps

Though it's been a while since I went through a Speed camera, I'm pretty sure it beeps 3 or 4 times and then the female warning voice to "start slowing down" comes on.

i'll have to go to one of nearby Speed cameras to verify what it does.

This morning I tested it on my local Red Light camera and there was just the voice warning, no beeps (as always) and the on screen warning message too.

I had to recorded my own voice for the speed camera warnings.

Anyway - check the distance you specified when making the poi file.

I tested the GPS and I got a voice warning for the red light camera, and 5 beeps and a voice warning for the speed camera (the same as the node/18320 link above) and the speed camera beeps/voice warning repeated 3 times.

It seems my GPS had a thrombis Saturday when both a red light and speed camera were in proximity, but not being able to make it stop beeping (without muting it) was a big pain. And I could easily be wrong on my presumption.
